Kayla (she, her, hers) grew up in Racine then lived in other states to attend schools. She returned to Wisconsin 8 years ago, and joined OBUUC five years ago. Kayla has previously worked for WUUSAN (Wisconsin Unitarian Universalist state action network), organizing UU the Vote efforts for Wisconsin in 2022 and 2023.

She currently is a high school chemistry and environmental science teacher. She has 3 young kids who are active in the RE program.
