Carl Hubbard
Carl was born and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Beloit College, majoring in English Composition. He has lived in Racine for more than 50 years. Carl is Co-President of OBUUC’s Board of Trustees. He is a retiree of SC Johnson, where he was employed as a Technical Writer. He presently serves as Secretary of Racine’s Police and Fire Commission and is a member of the Public Library’s Board of Trustees. He has served on a number of Racine non-profit boards including the City of Racine’s Affirmative Action and Human Rights Commission, Neighborhood Watch, the Dominican Ministries Senior Companion Program, Next Generation Now Early Childhood Development Center and the LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin. Although only formally a member of Olympia Brown UU church since 2022, Carl has intermittently attended OBUUC for more than 20 years.
