Mary has been coming to OBUUC since 2008 initially on and off as work life took her back and forth across the IL/WI border for 8 years. In 2016 she determined that she wanted to settle down in Racine. It was then she became a member of OBUUC. She has a Double Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin Parkside, in Philosophy and Sociology (with an Anthropology focus), has a Certificate in Museum Studies and Community Based Learning from the same. She completed a Master in Business Management degree in 2011. Currently, she works for the State of Wisconsin for the Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove. This is Mary’s first time on the Board at OBUUC, she brings several years of experience serving in a variety of organizations, and on their boards as a student and as a citizen in practically every community she has lived in. She currently serves on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Committee as the public-at-large member (State of Wisconsin) and the Health Equity Diversity and Inclusion Council (HEDI) with the Office of Health Equity (State of Wisconsin).
