Mark Lukow:  Mark has been attending OBUUC since his parents joined the church c.1962 which means he has memories of three ministers before Tony Larsen.  As a Young Adult, Mark served OBUUC as a Sunday School teacher, a High School advisor, a pledge drive canvasser and as a SEWUUC representative.  Later, Mark served OBUUC on several pledge drive committees (database administrator), Board of Trustees (Treasurer), Endowment Fund committee (Secretary/Treasurer), the Finance Committee and a by-laws committee while continuing to support RE as a Middle School advisor, a trained OWL facilitator and downstairs as a Sunday School teacher eventually working with every grade PreK-12.  Mark was a delegate to General Assemblies in Phoenix and Portland.  He has attended Midwest UU Summer Assembly (MUUSA) for twenty years where he is best best known for running Hogwarts Summer Camp at Lake Geneva and more recently, for serving two terms on the MUUSA Executive Committee as Treasurer.  Mark enjoys an active retirement especially kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, biking, and spending time at his Dad’s (now his) place up north on Maiden Lake.  Mark is married to Luanne Frey.  Their two children live in Milwaukee and Chicago.  Marks believes two of our cornerstones are music and raising engaged children who are comfortable in their own skins.
