This year’s UUA Common Read is “Breathe: A Letter to My Sons” by Imani Perry. The book is an intimate meditation on the fears, hopes, and responsibilities of raising two Black boys in America.

The discussion will be online, in written form, on the website. Anyone interested in participating will be able to do so for two months – March and April. The online discussion will be password protected, so it won’t be able to be viewed by the public or anyone in the congregation without the password.

If you would like to participate you will need to contact our Director of Lifespan Religious Education. She will email you the password and links to the discussion questions. We currently have 2 books available to borrow, or the books are available for purchase on and the UUA Bookstore.
