It’s a bit hard to believe but this month marks the beginning of my final six months serving as your interim minister. Wow. Where did the time go? We have done so much good work together. And I have been blessed with being welcomed into this amazing beloved congregation. And there is so, so very much going on as I prepare to say goodbye to you.

We are about to kick off this year’s Annual Budget Drive, the 2020 Campaign has been raising funds for your upcoming searches for both another interim minister and a settled minister, the search committee selection is going on, and all the other activities and events of congregational life continue. I am sure it can feel overwhelming at times. I know I feel it.

I also know what an exciting time this is as you prepare to move into the future you envision for OBUUC. I also, know, without a doubt, that you can do it! You are resilient, you are committed and you are an amazing beloved congregation. In these last month’s I will continue to support you, in whatever ways I can, as you prepare to take these next steps into your bright future.
