Notice of Special Meeting of the Congregation to be held May 2, 2021
Please take note that a Special Meeting of the Congregation of the Olympia Brown Unitarian Universalist Church will be held following services on Sunday, May 2, 2021, via Zoom.
The purpose of the meeting is to take a vote of members whether to Call a new Settled Minister.
As you know, the Settled Minister Search Team has been representing OBUUC these past several months in the search for our new Minister.
Candidating Week, April 25-May 2, 2021: Our Candidate, presented by the Search Team, will be leading our worship services on both Sunday, April 25th, and Sunday May 2nd. The vote for members to decide whether to Call the candidate as our Minister will occur at the Special Meeting on that second Sunday.
Update: The Search Team will present our Candidate to the church membership immediately after Sunday Services April 11. Please join the Zoom Service and learn who our Minister Candidate is!
Further information about the Special Meeting will be provided at a later date, including the link to attend the Zoom session. In the meantime, please mark this important date (May 2nd) on your calendar and plan to attend the meeting and vote whether to call the successful candidate as our new Minister.
