6 years retired, Bill spent the majority of his career as a Registered Nurse and 17 years with a small bio-tech company working in the Narcolepsy and Sleep Medicine community. His service at OBUUC includes: Nomination Committee (2 terms), Committee on the Ministry, Safety Committee, Interim Minister Transition Team, and Board of Trustees 2011-13. Bill was a member of the Settled Minister Search Team, and is currently serving another term on the Board of Trustees.

He has been active with Olympia Brown UU Church (OBUUC) since the early 1990s and became a member some years later. As a non-theist and a student of evolution he finds the institution of Unitarian Universalism welcoming. He appreciates that the members of OBUUC prioritize engagement in our community to work toward social and environmental justice and are a people who “show up”.
